Student Leadership

At Kadimah, student leadership is a vital part of our school culture. We provide purposeful opportunities for students to develop confidence, responsibility, and a commitment to service, all grounded in respect, community, and Jewish values.

Purpose

Our Student Leadership Structure establishes clear roles and responsibilities while empowering student voice. It is designed to nurture leadership capability, encourage active participation in school life, and foster a strong sense of belonging and contribution.

Student Council

Student voice is actively encouraged through our Student Council. Each term, students from Years 3–8 elect class representatives to serve as Student Councillors.

This rotating model ensures that a wide range of students have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and contribute to school decision-making. Through class voting each term, students experience authentic democratic processes and learn the importance of representation, responsibility, and respectful dialogue.

The Student Council is led by our student leaders and provides a platform for students to share ideas, raise concerns, and contribute meaningfully to the life of the school.
