Our Culture

Our Culture

Kadimah places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, diversity and community. We are a small school with a big heart.

Something we are most proud of is our diversity. We have a wonderfully diverse school community, and we welcome and celebrate students from all backgrounds.  Our annual cultural day is testament to this. Students dress to proudly showcase their cultural heritage, including costumes displaying Israeli, Maori, South American, Chinese, Samoan and French heritage, as well as plenty sporting silver fern and All Black attire.

Our strong school spirit is celebrated and enhanced by various events held throughout the year (including our fresh produce market, cultural day, sports day and arts evening) and through the celebration of Jewish festivals, including a whole-school Passover Seder (festive meal), Purim dress-up parade, and Rosh Hashanah (New Year) festivities.
